One in 100 children are born each year with some form of Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and is the most common form of birth defects and the leading cause of birth defect related death. Twice as many children die each year from CHD than all of pediatric cancers combined. Yet funding for research has always been limited. Little Hearts For Life Inc. hopes that further research can help children with CHD will not only live longer lives, but may also have opportunities available to them due to research fundraisers like this one. Through a partnership between nine area churches and global hunger charity: Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), volunteers will prepare 350,000 life-saving meals at a FMSC MobilePackTM event. The MobilePack will take place September 29 – October 2, 2014 at Green Bay Community Church, 600 Cardinal Lane, Green Bay, WI. Community members can support this MobilePack by making a donation to cover meal costs, and/or by volunteering to package food at the event. Donations may be given immediately through six weeks post event. Please designate donations to MobilePack Event # 1409-86.
