Janice Wiegert Benefit

8am-midnight

  • Downtown Mishicot
  • Main Street
    Mishicot WI 54228

On Behalf of Janice Wiegert Dancers and Pink Heals Manitowoc County Mishicot, WI April 8, 2013 Janice Wiegert Benefit Family, Friends, and local Community It is with a heavy heart that I inform you about Janice Wiegert''s terminal illness. On March 27th she was informed of the worst fear anyone could imagine-Aggressive Gall Bladder Cancer. Janice''s time on earth is limited, as well as anyone else''s; we were born with no guarantee. It is our mission to make her life on earth as comfortable as possible. Janice has been a pillar in this community for what would have been her 50th year of teaching next year. She has taught, mentored, loved, and assisted each child with the gift of self confidence, and has seen her way through your child''s eyes with her passion of Dance. Janice has gone through various surgeries and testing. At this point doctors feel there are no options left. Janice is starting an all Natural Treatment Facility April 8th in hopes to maintain her quality of life. For that reason, the Janice Wiegert Dancers, Pink Heals Manitowoc County, St. Peters Lutheran Church Mishicot, and Janice''s Family will be holding a benefit toward covering Janice''s hospital bills, medical costs and other costs that are impacting the family. Deb Mueller and Rod Scheuer have donated their musical talents toward entertainment for the benefit. Please consider sending us a donation that we can use for our benefit. The benefit will be held on May 18th starting at 8 am with a Bake Sale and Silent Auction in the Janice Wiegert Dance Studio. At noon Main Street will close until 4pm. There will be silent auctions, food, bake goods, live music, 50/50 raffles and kid activities. Your consideration in sending us a donation for the benefit is greatly appreciated. For your convenience we have enclosed a response sheet. Thank you in advance for your support. If further details are needed, please feel free to contact Missy Miller at 920-755-2352 or email at mishicotwipinkheals@gmail.com. When sending an email or donation, please reference Janice Benefit in the subject line. Sincerely, Janice Wiegert Benefit Committee

On the right side of the stage you see David, lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist. Chopped black hair around piecing eyes that bleed black mascara. Sleeveless, torn, jean-jacketed, a vision of a classic era, spirit of ?77. On the left side of the stage Lee Marie swings her bass high above her platinum blonde maelstrom, supported by white high-heels. She screams with lipstck-laden vocal yelps and finger-points to the sky. And behind, Seth twirls his sticks and bashes in rhythm to complete the whirlwind that is...Children 18:3.

The heart of the conference is to call women to set-apart living in their unique roles and seasons of life. The messages will be focused especially towards younger women between the ages of 12-25, but will bless and encourage women of all ages. Older women are encouraged to bring a younger woman along with them --whether a daughter, neighbor, friend, or granddaughter. This will be a great opportunity to develop deeper ''Titus 2'' relationships between older and younger women and also to connect in unity and community within the local Body of Christ. DISCIPLE - SILVERLINE

7:30 PM

  • Cup O' Joy
  • 232 S. Broadway St.
    Green Bay WI 54303

Too many bands fall prey to the age-old conundrum where, if they sound great live, their albums fall short?and if they can craft a great studio recording, they lack the goods to pull it off live. That''s what makes the new Disciple release, ''O God, Save Us All,'' such an achievement: It''s a tight, terrific collection of hard-hitting rock songs with a redemptive heart. But from the very start, lead vocalist Kevin Young and his comrades (Israel Beachy on bass, Micah Sannan on guitar and Trent Reiff on drums) sought to craft a disc that would leap off the live concert stage with all the impact of a perfectly timed stage dive. And if that means Disciple''s going to get a little loud in the process, so much the better
