First Job:
Cleaning tables at my uncle's restaurant.
Family Ties:
Still living at home. I have a younger brother and two older sisters.
Hobbies/Interests:
Reading, biking, and trying to keep up with the latest music charts.
Guilty Pleasure:
Food in general. It seems no matter where I work, one of my job titles is "Garbage Disposal", I get to eat most of the leftovers.
Favorite TV shows/Movies:
Movies: Currently, "Radio" and "Miracle". I'm not really a fan of many of the current TV shows, but I do like to catch an occasional episode of "Red Green" or a rerun of "Home Improvement". Until they bring back "ALF", the news is the only show I'll watch on a regular basis.
Pets:
Two cats and a German Shepard.
Favorite Artist/Song:
Artists: Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, and MercyMe, among others. Songs: "What It's Like" by Downhere, "If We Are the Body" by Casting Crowns, "Secret Ambition" by Michael W. Smith, and Lincoln Brewster's version of "Shout To the Lord".
How did you end up working at the Q?
I was looking for a way to use the production skills I learned in college, so I asked if I could be a volunteer. As I began taking on more projects, I became an offical staff member. Thank you Jeff Rydell for teaching me so much.
Favorite Bible Passage:
Romans 12. I will probably still be working on those qualities as long as I live, but you can't achieve anything unless you try.
My prayer for Q-90:
That we continue to encourage listeners to volunteer and help those in need throughout their community and around the world and that we be good role models of that behavior.
If you could add or change one thing to the Green Bay area, what would it be?
I'd like to improve the air quality sometimes. If the wind is right, you'll get a whiff of air that has the odor of gym socks that haven't been washed in a month.
Who did you want to be like when you were growing up?
A host of any TV program. I was always trying to hog the spotlight when the video recorder was going.
If you could meet one person past, present or future who would it be and why?
Any one of the presidents because it would be interesting to talk to a person who can look at a multitude of situations from many prospectives.
If you were granted one wish, what would it be and why?
To host "Total Axxess" because I'd like to have a job where I can put a smile on someone's face after a long day.
What was the last book you read, and when did you read it?
Currently, "Who You Are When No One's Looking" by Bill Hybels for a Bible study.
If you could ask one question, what would it be, and how would you answer it?
I don't think I'd ask any more, The questions here already reveal quite a bit about a person.
If you could spend a whole day with somebody famous, who would it be and why?
Either Bob Uecker or Paul Harvey because these are both people who work hard in the radio industry, but they still have a healthy sense of humor and are humble about their success.
What's your favorite candy and soda?
5th Avenue candy bars and any brand of root beer.
